Luanda
Higher Education Minister leaves for Vietnam Friday

Luanda - Angola's Minister of Higher Education, Science and Technology, Candida Teixeira, is travelling on Friday to Vietnam for a week-long working visit, aimed to assess the perspective of implementing a technical co-operation protocol.

According to a press note released to Angop on Friday, the protocol aims, among others, to hire local experts for teaching, research, updating works and consultancy in Angola.

The entities of both countries will also identify higher education institutions in Vietnam that may grant scholarships for Angolan students in the future.

The visit is an invitation made by the Vietnamese Minister of Foreign Affairs, Doan Xuan Hung, during his visit in Angola late in 2011.
