Zaire governor calls for teachers' courage in 2012

Soyo - The governor of the northern Zaire province, Pedro Sebastião, appealed on Wednesday for more love, courage and patience to the teachers, while exercising their tasks.

 

According to him, the teachers are entitled to train future cadres of the country.

 

Pedro Sebastião, who chaired the official act of the opening of 2012 academic year, said that the goal of the local executive is to take schools closer to communities, aiming for a quality education system all over the country.

 

The official also unveiled a secondary school at Mangue Grande locality.

 

The school, with capacity to accommodate 500 students, is estimated at USD 257.000 dollars.
