Education Ministry to recruit over 12,000 new teachers


Ndalatando – The Education Ministry will recruit 12, 819 new teachers this 2012 year, announced Tuesday in dalatando, northern Kwanza Norte province the minister Pinda Simão.


Pinda Simão was speaking at the official opening of the  2012 academic year, adding that the  new teachers will join 218,233 already existing, comprising 231,52 staffers..


The minister said also that in the present academic year, the number of schools will increase from 55, 000 to 56,429, existing all over the country’s schools to be inaugurated.


The academic year was officially opened Tuesday by Angolan vice president, Fernando da Piedade Dias dos Santos, witnessed by members of the provincial Government, school headmasters, teachers and students.
