Literacy programme covers over 60,000 citizens

 

Mungo – The School Literacy and Acceleration Programme (PAAE) in the province of Huambo covers annually 64,715 citizens including 48,537 women.

 

According to the deputy governor of Huambo for organization and technical services, Loty Nolika which revealed the fact to Angop, lessons are administered by 1,849 teachers.

 

The source added that 466 are receiving their subsidies from the Ministry of Education (MED) while other 383 are without subsidies.
