Bié Province gains new teachers

Kuito – At least 77 citizens ended on Tuesday in Katabola District, Central Bié Province, a teachers training programme, held by Norway's Human People to People non-governmental organisation, ANGOP has learnt.


 
According to the school, Adelino da Cruz Jacinto, during the two- year and a half course, the teachers received knowledge in subjects such as maths, biology, Portuguese and foreign language, chemistry, music, moral and civic education, visual plastic education, geography and physics.

 

Other subjects were didactics, methodology of investigation, general pedagogy, among others.

 

Most of the teachers came from inland districts of Bié and the neighbouring provinces of Huambo and Kuando-Kubango.

 

At the closing ceremony, Katabola deputy administrator, Hilário Chilingutila, called on the new teachers to transmit well the knowledge they acquired.
