Angolan academics, US Department to discuss education issues

Luanda  – A delegation of Angola’s privately-owned Oscar Ribas University will travel early in September to the United States of America, to discuss with that country’s Department of State issues concerning institutional cooperation in higher education, Angop learnt from an official source.

Speaking to Angop, “Pitabel” group’s chairperson, Abel Segunda, said that the institutional cooperation to be established with US universities will mainly cover post-graduation, teaching of English, professional training and others.

Last year, the said privately-owned university donated to the US Congress Library a full collection of books by late Angolan writer, Oscar Ribas.
