Over 200 teachers employed in Cela

Cela  –  At least 204 new teachers will start working in Cela district, Kwanza Sul province, informed this Wednesday, in Wako Kungo, the local head of Education, Cruz Sabalo.

Speaking to Angop, Cruz Sabalo said that the teachers are those who were recently admitted through a public tender of the Education Ministry and will be teaching in the primary level, I and II cycles of the secondary education, as well as replacing those teachers working in the remote zones for more than four yeas.

"We need to replace teachers working too far from the city for long time, giving them opportunity to increase their academic level, reason why these new teachers will replace them," justified the source.

Cruz Sabalo praised the quality of the teachers after attending a pedagogy seminar on teaching and learning, mentioning that at least more than 100 new teachers are needed to enrol over 500 children in the rural zones.
