Convention with Portugal to improve higher education

Lubango – The chairperson of the Medical Faculty of Mandume Ya Ndemofayo University, in southern province of Huíla, Monday in Lubango, said that the signing of an agreement between the Central Hospital Agostinho Neto and Coimbra University (Portugal) will contribute to gradually increase the local higher education quality.

 
Ana Domingos da Silva Geraldo, speaking to press about the possibility of this convention being reached, said that, with the visit paid by Portuguese Statesman, Cavaco Silva, to Huíla province, great advantages can be taken for medicine sector.

 
"The visit of president Cavaco Silva to the province is good, once that might enable Angolans technicians to be trained in that European country, for next progressive admission in the local Medicine Faculty", he said.
