Agronomy, Veterinary Medicine faculties open in 2010

Malanje, – The deputy chancellor of Lueji a Nkonda University, Carlos Yoba, announced Wednesday in northern Malanje that lessons at locally-based faculties of  Agronomy and Veterinary Medicine will start officially in 2011.


 
The official announced this during the opening of the Medicine Faculty’s 2010 academic year.

 

He said on the occasion the local Government, together with his institution are working to start  lessons in those institutions in 2010.


 
Carlos Yoba underlined that the university has the mission of structurally and methodologically  organising the new organic units, while the Government is responsible for securing accommodation and classrooms for the start of lessons.


 
The Faculty of Medicine opened in Malanje in 2009, with 60 students in two classes. Another  67 have been admitted this year.
