Teachers end educative reform course


Xangongo – At least 160 primary teachers in Ombadja district, southern Cunene province, ended Wednesday a training programme in pedagogy.


The course that took place under the ongoing countrywide educative reform, aimed at improving the teachers’ skills in the present academic year.


Angop learnt from the head of department of the Education section in that district, Fernando Haussona, who said that the course that lasted five days, also aimed at making teachers acquainted with the educative reform underway in the country.


Ombadja district, some 96 kilometres to the north of Ondjiva city, capital of Cunene province, has a population estimated at 183,264 inhabitants.
