Lubango – At least 1,224 new students will attend, for the first time this academic year, the 10th grade at the High Institute of Economics (IMEL) of Lubango, southern Huila province.
The information was released Wednesday in Lubango by the director of that institution, Jacinto Jamba.
Speaking to Angop, the source said that the new students will be distributed into 33 classrooms, each carrying 37 students, attending lessons in regular periods and night periods.
Jacinto Jamba mentioned that these new classrooms will add to existing 36, totalling 69, to take a total of 2,461 students, from 10th up to 13th grade.
IMEL is supported by 71 teachers, runs various subjects and is equipped with rooms and laboratories to meet the needs.
Lubango’s IMEL runs the courses of accounting and management, statistics, public administration and computer science.
