Luanda governor invites education businessmen

Luanda– Luanda governor, Francisca do Espírito Santo, urged businessmen  to cooperate more with education sector, in the improvement and spread of cultural, sports  and recreational activities in schools.


 
Addressing the opening ceremony of the school year 2010 in Luanda province, the governor  said that private enterpreneurs have also their social responsibility, as government partners.


 
“To some extent we are satisfied that businessmen have been collaborating, but we think that  more and better can be done, the reason why we urge businessmen to invest more in  education sector, for students benefits”, she stated.


 
According to Francisca do Espírito Santo, the provincial government keeps on working to  reduce youth delinquency, and school is the best way through community help.


 
Over 2.000,000 children were registered this school year in Luanda province.
