Luanda - The CSG car manufacturing factory, located in Viana district, Luanda, announced that it will supply all makes of vehicles such as jeeps, pick-ups and small, medium and large capacity buses, as well as spare parts processing, trading and rent cars.
The private investment project, approved Wednesday, at the Cabinet Council session, also intends to set up sale points in the country and abroad, and providing assistance and adapting of vehicles, accordingly with the criteria of the client.
The USD 30 million-worth project also foresees the creation of 680 direct jobs, of which 510 will be offered to the national workers.
The plan is promoted by the firms Pearkbright International Limited, with five percent of social capital, and Powerquest International Limited, 95 percent, both with British rights.
The Government organ also approved the documents proposed by the National Agency for Private Investment (ANIP) related to the investments in the Pungo Andongo farm, the vehicle CSG factory and the Sea Breeze Futila condominium.
Under the financial plan, the Cabinet, chaired by the Head of State, Jose Eduardo dos Santos, approved the financial programme of Treasury for the third quarter of this year and the memorandum on the performance of oil revenue of the first four months of this year.
