Luanda- The repair of the Luanda-Malanje Railway, started in 2003, will be concluded this year, Transport Minister, Augusto Tomás, disclosed today during a meeting with a group of MPs.
According to the minister, who was being challenged by the members of the parliament's economy and finance commission about the operational conditiob of the railways in Angola, the repairs of the Moçamedes and Benguela railways are set to finish in 2010 and 2011 respectively.
The Minister said the works are going well and most of the repair equipments are already in the country.
On other turn, he said that the construction of Dande port is practically finished, whereas recovery of Lobito port is in good pace and of Namibe as well.
