Power sector to benefit from Norway's experience - official

Luanda - The Secretary of State for Water, Luis Filipe da Silva Friday here said the country will benefit from Norway's experience in the power field in order to develop increasingly  the sector, Angop has learnt.


The official said so at the end of the signing ceremony of the cooperation accord between the two countries.Angola is represented by the incumbent Minister, João Baptista Borges.


Luis Filipe da Silva recalled that Norway is a country with great development in hydroelectric field, therefore Angola expects with this accord to benefit from this experience.


The protocol will focus mainly in the areas of renewable energies, rural electricity, energetic efficiency and institutional assistance.
