Transports minister unveils seven railway stations in Luanda

Luanda - The minister of Transports, Augusto da Silva Tomás, on Tuesday here inaugurated seven stations with the Luanda railways campany (CFL), Angop has learnt.


The inaugurations are part of the rehabilitation and modernisation project of the CFL, an initiative of the President of the Republic, José Eduardo dos Santos.


According to the Cabinet minister, the inaugurations represent the end of the first phase of the mentioned project that enabled the construction of 20 railways stations between Luanda, Bengo, Kwanza-Norte and Malanje.


In last June, the minister inaugurated nine stations namely Viana, Kapalanga, Entroncamento, Baia, Catete, Barraca, Zenza to Itombe, Cassualala and Dondo.
