SONANGOL invests over USD 100 million in Economic Zone

Luanda – At least Usd 138 million have been invested in the construction of 15 new plants in the Luanda-Bengo Special Economic Zone (ZEE) by the Angolan Oil Company, SONANGOL Investimentos Industriais, Angop learned Tuesday in Luanda.


The information was released by the director of the water pump factory, Bravo da Rosa.

 
Speaking to Angop, Eugénio Bravo da Rosa said SONANGOL has made the said investment in the framework of the process of re-industrialisation of the country, adding that the initiative has led to the creation of more than 3,000 direct and indirect jobs.

 
He also stated that the purpose of Sonangol Investimentos is to reach 25 plants in the Special Economic Zone until late this year.
