Kuito - The governor of the central province of Bie, Alvaro de Boavida  Neto, Thursday said that the Government intents to help the entrepreneurs of the country, especially in the southern region, through the credit-grant assistance that will enable boost the socio-economic development.

 
The Angolan government has planned several programmes related to the economic  development in the country and entrepreneurs in particular, pledged the governor during the meeting with the local businesspeople in Kuito city.

 
According to the governor, the initiative aims at empowering the entrepreneurs in the inland country in order to reduce regional disparities, so that economic growth covers the whole country.

He called on every businessman to actively cooperate in growth of the economy through the performance of small, medium and large companies, thus contributing to transformation of the country’s economy.

Over 600 entrepreneurs from various sectors attended the meeting.
