Portuguese Economy minister in Luanda


Luanda  – The Portuguese minister of Economy and Employment, Álvaro Santos Pereira, arrived Wednesday in Luanda for a three-day official visit to Angola, as part of the effort to have bilateral cooperation reinforced.

 
Accompanying the visiting minister are 13 entrepreneurs in the sectors of energy, water, wastes, construction, tourism, pharmaceutical industry and naval building.
 

Angop learned that while in Angola, the visiting official will meet with local Government members with whom he will discuss the participation of Portuguese companies in the country’s public investments.

 
Álvaro Pereira is also expected to discuss with Angolan officials matters concerning trade between the two countries and at the level of the Portuguese Speaking Community (CPLP).
 

Angola and Portugal have cooperation in such sectors as political, economy, environment, energy, culture and others.
