Luanda - The minister of Commerce, Idalina Valente, on Monday here hailed the importance of protecting the country from any attempt of selling counterfeit medicine and unsafe foodstuff, ANGOP has learnt.
Idalina Valente said so during a workshop on the creation of the agency for regulation of foodstuff and chemical products, adding that in the context of globalisation it is important to double the efforts towards this fight.
According to her, Angola has currently 62 laboratories, two of which were inaugurated recently and 17 are designed for food analysis and the remainder for clinical exams.
