Luanda – The Angolan minister of Geology and Industry, Joaquim David, said Thursday in Luanda that the efforts made by the people and Government to rehabilitate the country’s infrastructures are notable.
Joaquim David was addressing an Angola Mining Investment Promotion meeting.
The minister recalled that thousands of kilometres of roads have been rehabilitated as well as bridges, water and electricity systems, hydro-electric dams and attainments in the domain of education.
The minister also mentioned efforts in the sectors of the so-called real economy, development of industries, agriculture, commercial activity and services which are the basis for economic growth.
According to Joaquim David, all this is being done to improve the distribution of the wealth, increase the technological capacity and the Gross Domestic Product, reduction of poverty, elevation of life expectancy and human development index.
