250 hectares of arable land prepared

Sumbe – The agriculture company of Nuviagro prepared at least 250 hectares of arable land in district of Quibala, central Kwanza Sul province, for agricultural purposes, so as to ensure sustainability of cool drink factory of “Refriango”.

 

According to a press note from Nuviagro that reached Angop this Thursday, the arable land will benefit from modern irrigation systems, whose implementation is at the conclusion phase.

 

The implementation of the new irrigation system aims at guaranteeing a sustainable and profitable agricultural exploration.      

 

The land is prepared for the production of fruits like papaya, mango, guava, grapes and watermelon, among others.

 

According to the document, the initiative will enable to generate 400 new jobs in the region.
