Luanda - The Committee of investment and and macroeconomic assessment of Value Bank concluded that the average inflation calculated by the Consumer Price Index (CPI) in Luanda, in the months of April and May was below its seasonal pattern.
The information was released Thursday in Luanda by the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Banco Valor, Rui Minguês de Oliveira, who was speaking at a meeting with journalists to present the publication of "Outlook Valor".
The publication discusses the macroeconomic environment and political perspectives the bank has been conducting.
Rui de Oliveira considered positive the index of consumer prices in the months in reference, since it reveals the absence of inflationary pressures within the internal activity, which may cause a sharp deviation in relation to the annual goal of 10 percent.
"We expect higher inflation in June compared to May, but with some reduction in the cumulative change in 12 months," he underlined.
