Rio de Janeiro - The goals stated by the national strategy for climate changes and greenhouses mitigation, specific commitments and other actions show that Angola is a powerhouse in generating about 230 million carbon credit seven years ago, Angop has learnt.
So far, Angola is the African nation with more projects in areas of renewable energies until 2020, with a potential that may reach at least 600 million credits in 21 years of cycle of useful life for the greatest part of the carbon projects currently in development.
A note from the Ministry of Energy and Water delivered to national press at the UN Summit on Sustainable Development says that to these resorts of carbon economy is added the contribution of the elements towards the promotion of updating, sustainability, competitive development and structuring investment.
