Fiscal Police Consultative Council recommends reinforcement of training

Huambo – Participants to the 3rd Broad Consultative Council of the Fiscal Police in central Huambo province held from May 22-23 here Monday recommended the reinforcement of training of staff, with a view to their higher technical and professional capacity.

 

This is contained in the final communiqué from the meeting that gathered members of the provincial command of the National Police and officials of the Interior Ministry.

 

The participants on the occasion also recommended the elevation of the academic level of the professionals and improvement of their discipline.

 

They also recommended more effort in the fight of customs infringements and other crimes of common nature and improvement of cooperation and coordination with other police organs.


 
After analysing the aspects related to the current state of the infrastructures, organisation and functioning of the organ, the note says, the participants spoke of the need for construction of a station for the Fiscal Police with better working conditions for the staff.

 

The closing of the 3rd Broad Consultative Council of the Fiscal Police in Huambo was chaired by its commander, Mateus Filho.


 
He on the occasion appealed to the staff to work with honesty, dedication and professional ethics.


 
The two-day meeting was intended to assess the work done in 2011 and in the first quarter of this year and outline new actions for this year.
