Geneva - The Entrepreneurial Support Centre (CAE), under the Angola’s Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Unicarga and Prodiaman Services, have been awarded in Geneva (Switzerland ) the Gold Quality Prize of the  international organisation Initiative Directions, in recognition of their services.

The three Angolan companies were distinguished along with more than two hundred firms from various parts of the world, for the excellent quality of the services offered to customers and high level of internal organisation.

The CAE is an organ of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry that operates in the field of services of training, technical and entrepreneurial support for Angolan small and medium size companies, intended to equip them to participate in a competitive way in the country’s oil sector.

CAE was established in 2007, under a joint project between the Oil Ministry, the Oil Company (Sonangol) and some multinational firms that operate in Angola’s oil and gas sector.

Unicargas was set up in 1988, is recognised as the country’s major road transportation company and produces solutions that complete the chain of logistics.

Prodiaman is a services company in the oil sector, having as partners various US companies in the fields of engineering, chemistry, electricity and instrumentation. It holds five percent on the Block-1-o6, through its subsidiary, Prodoil.

The Geneva2012 Quality Prize is part of the annual programme of BID awards, created to honour outstanding companies, organisations and entrepreneurs. Its prizes range from oil, diamond and platina categories.
