Luanda - The National Statistics Institute (INE) will perform in July this year, a Pilot Census of Population and Housing in seven provinces of the country with the aim of testing the set of means prepared for the Census of Population and Housing (RGPH) set for 2013, announced today the head of the institution, Camilo Ceita.
"These are the provinces of Uige, Kwanza Norte, Luanda, Bie, Moxico, Namibe and Cunene," said the director and the coordinator of the Office of the General Census for 2013, during a seminar on the RGPH for journalists held in Cefojor (Centre for Training of Journalists).
According to the official, it is necessary to perform an experiment on what you want to do in 2013 in order to understand whether the organizational structure and operational logistics prepared meet the purposes of the census.
As for why the choice of seven provinces, the experts explained that INE it has to do with the country's regions, in North, South, East and West, which represents characteristics of the remaining provinces.
