Seoul - The Angolan Commission for Expo 2012, led by Albina Assis, attended the 3rd International Meeting on Preparation of EXPO 2012 held in Seul, South Korea. The event gathered over 100 countries and international organizations.
The Angolan delegation also visited the city of Yeosu, to review the organizational issues such as accommodation, accreditation of officials and journalists, logistics as well as cultural programmes.
In Seoul, Albina Assis met with the Angolan ambassador Albino Malungo, who reiterated the support of the diplomatic mission in that Asian country to the Angolan Commission of the Expo, with a view to the successful participation in the event.
This is the fourth time the commissioner Albina Assis visits South Korea after having already attended two preparatory meetings of the committee held in April 2010, April 2011 and November 2011, for the official reception of the keys of Angolan pavilion.
The 2012 Expo will run from May 12 to August 12, 2012, under the theme "Life in the oceans and the coast."
The Angolan delegation is also integrated by Santos Virgílio, national deputy commissioner, director of protocol, Cláudia Baptista, director of logistics, Neuza Caetano, director of the events, Frederico Júnior, and technical consultant, Paula Nascimento.
