Luanda - The director general of the National Statistics Institute (INE), Camilo Ceitas said Wednesday in Luanda that the census of population in Angola will ensure better planning and fair distribution of natural and human resources.
Speaking to Angop, on the preparation of the general census of population and housing in the country, taking place in 2013, Camilo Ceitas explained that the census involves phases and several resources, such as logistics, administrative and finance.
The INE officials assured that the Angolan government is creating the necessary conditions to conduct the general census of population and housing countrywide in 2013.
To this purpose, he said, a budget estimated at USD 56 million was approved this year, with the view to fund the activities.
