Quipungo - At least 75.115 hectares of land Have been prepared for the 2012 agricultural season, which will start in March, in Quipungo Municipality, southern Huila Province.

This was said by the Quipungo municipal administrator, Candida Ukali, who added that over 62.000 hectares are for seeds of maize and the rest for beans, peanuts, potatoes, sweet-potatoes and soya.

For the success of the campaign the local administration distributed 60 tonnes of fertilizers and 60 tonnes of sulphate.
