Foreign companies interested to operate in Angola

Luanda – The Angolan minister of Geology,  Mines and Industry, Joaquim David, Thursday in Cape Town, South Africa, said there is a serious interest of foreign companies in operating in Angola’s mining sector.


 
“It is a common interest, once that Angola wants also to diversify exploration of its mining
resources, with common advantages”, said minister Joaquim David while leaving a meeting he held with a lot of companies dealing with mining.


 
“Angola is a country entering at the world mining industry”, he said.


 
The government official said that in the meeting he had with the various companies, these were curious to know what Angola brought for the conference in terms of legislation and how
attractive is the mining activity in the country.
