State-run diamond firm's new board takes over Friday

 

Luanda - The new board of directors of the state-run diamond company Endiama was sworn-in on Thursday, in Luanda, in a ceremony chaired by the minister of the Economy, Abraão Gourgel, ANGOP witnessed the act.


 The new board members are Carlos Sumbula, CEO, Paulo Mvika, Osvaldo Van-Dúnem, Luis Quitamba and Fernando Augusto Sebastião as executive directors.


According to a presidential decree, the new Endiama board aims at safeguarding the company’s public interest, as well as keeping the firm’s cohesion, dynamics and enterprising.  


On the occasion, minister Abraão Gourgel called on the new management to adopt a good planning strategy in face of the new conditions that the firm faces in the market.
