Endiama to increase diamonds production

Luanda - The state-run Angolan Diamond Company (Endiama) will work in order to apply the government's strategy outlined for the sector, meant to improve production, ANGOP has learnt.

Endiama's CEO, António Carlos Sumbula, also said that firm will increase its production and work to bring an equilibrium between the demand and supply.

According to him, the firm will pay a special attention to the social area, working in collaboration with the provincial governments of Lunda-norte, Lunda-Sul and Bié.

In 2011, Endiama signed fourteen prospecting contracts, for primary and secondary fields.
