Luanda - Angola loses about Usd 18 million per year out of idle hours spent by workers, especially in activities started with a delay, Angop learned Thursday in Luanda.
The disclosure came from the chairman of the Angola Industrial Association (AIA), José Severino.
Speaking to Angop on “Week Toxic Products” on a privately-owned Luanda Antena Comercial (LAC) radio station’s economy programme, José Severino considered toxic the habit of planning activities that are started hours later.
He said that about 100 to 300 workers, mainly those with responsibility to make the country grow, idle their precious working hours away.
According to the official, should that toxicity prevail in Angola, it is estimated that on average, out of 12 activities per day, multiplied by 200 days, the country loses 360 hours.
