Luanda – The Angolan secretary of State for Industry, Kiala Gabriel, Tuesday, in Luanda, said that the industrialisation programme being implemented in Angola is focused on public-private partnership for strategic development.

 
Speaking to the press, under the pre-conference on partnership infrastructure Investment for African Development (iPAD), the official said that in this perspective the Executive plans to build industrial development points all over the country, and “for the succes of these zones we are counting on the participation of the private sector”.

 
He said that at least 11 places to build industrial points have already been identified, considering a business opportunity under the public-private partnership law.

 
Kiala Gabriel assured that, at those zones' private investors are protected by the Government to make their investment.

The secretary of State for Industry pointed out as an example the industrial development point of Viana, counting on a Special Economic Zone (ZEE).
