Luanda
Sol Bank and business women association sign agreement

Luanda - A financial protocol, which aims to provide micro-credit to business women, was signed on Friday in Luanda between Sol Bank and the Federation of Angolan Women Entrepreneurs (FMEA).

The agreement will enable women to have access to micro credit ranging from USD 20.000.

The loan will be refunded in a 24-month period with an interest rate of 3.99 percent per month.

In addition to credit, the protocol will empower the members, who currently have been developing business activities in the sectors of trade, clothing, beauty salon, small business and agriculture, in issues related to micro and small businesses.

The agreement will last 36 months and may be renewed in accordance with interests of the parties.

The CEO Coutinho Nobre Miguel and Maria do Carmo Nascimento signed the agreement for Sol Bank and FMEA, respectively.

Federation of Angolan Women Entrepreneurs was founded in 2001 and it has 2.500 members countrywide.
