Huambo
Public managers end training on governance, finance

Huambo - Administrators from districts and communes of Huambo, Bié and Kuando Kubango provinces, and financial technicians concluded Tuesday in Huambo city a two-day seminar on governance and financial management.


Promoted by Support and Control Office of District and Communal Administrations of Territory Administration Ministry, the seminar is intended to update the managing methods and the use of State financial resources, in the light of the new social and economic reality of the country.


Speaking at the closing session, the vice-governor for Economic and Productive Sector of Huambo, Henrique Deolindo Barbosa, appealed to the new trainees for rigour and transparency in managing the public resources.


The seminar discussed among others "Institutional adjustment of budgetary execution", "capacity costs"," budget policy" and "financial management of State".
