Farmers and peasants open account to get agricultural credit

Caluquembe – The farmers and peasants of the municipality of Caluquembe, 105 miles north of Lubango, are opening bank accounts, since August, to facilitate the acquisition of agricultural credit for the enhancement and improvement of their production.

 

The information was given on Sunday by the local administrator, Emílio Alexandre saying that a team of bank Sol is working with the farmers to achieve that goal.

 

To facilitate the action of the local businessmen, the municipal administration started a mechanism providing land to build the local branches of the the Saving and credit Bank (BPC) and Banco de Fomento Angola ( BFA).
