Luanda – Angola and Congo Brazzaville, created on Thursday in Luanda, an Inter-state Organ to conduct studies on the joint exploration of an oil field.
The oil field dubbed “Lianzi”, is based in the shared border area between the two countries.
For this effect, the Congolese Hydro-Carbons minister, André Rafael Loemba, paid a few-hour visit to Luanda and met his Angolan colleague, José Maria Botelho de Vasconcelos.
According to André Loemba, common objectives for the implementation of oil exploration activity were discussed in the meeting.
The Congolese minister seized the occasion to congratulate Angola for the holding of the meeting which he considered as positive.
