Steel pipe factory increases production

Caxito – Angoflex dealing in manufacturing pipes for oil firms has increased  its production from 80 to 200 pipes per day, in the first quarter of this year, its director-general, Philippe Monti, announced.

The increasing is due to the expansion of the factory area and the installation of new technology in the process of production, said the source.

The production may reach 500 pipes daily, meant to face the demands of the metallic pipes for gas and oil transportation.

Angloflex is located in Barra do Dande commune and has 500 workers, being 100 foreign ones. It exists since 2003 and the raw materials come from Mexico, Brazil and France.
