Luanda - Angola's pavilion at the Expo Shangai 2010 may attract, during the six months of exhibition, a total of six million visitors, thereby surpassing the four million that visited the Angolan pavilion at the Expo Saragoza 2008 of Spain, ANGOP has learnt.
The point of view was expressed on Friday by Angola's national commissioner to the Expo Shangai 2010, Albina Assis, during a press conference held in Luanda.
The official said that for this edition, Angola has an area of 1,000 square metres, in contrast to the 500,000 granted to Spain, which will enable a greater flow of people.
"Due to the area, the number of participating countries, as well as the density of the city hosting the event, we foresee a 20-percent increase of visits", Albina Assis was quoted as saying.
Singers such as Paulo Flores, Tito Paris and Manecas will perform during the opening session, whereas Pérola, Lina Alexandre, Yuri da Cunha, Gabriel Tchiema and Mito Gaspar will also sing during the event.
