Sonangol, Petrobrás assess oil co-operation

  
Luanda - Sonangol and Petrobrás analysed Wednesday in Luanda, co-operation ties and issues related to international oil market.

 

A press release, that Angop had got access Thursday in Luanda, states that Sonangol informs that the company’s chairperson of directors board, Manuel Vicente, received his counterpart from Petrobrás, José Sérgio Gabrielli de Azevedo, with whom they discussed issues related to the oil sector.

 

Before the meeting, the manager of the Brazilian oil company was received in an audience by the Head of State, José Eduardo dos Santos, to whom he gave information about Petrobrás activities in Angola and about interchange with Sonangol.

 

Petrobrás chairperson affirmed that Brazilian company participates in exploration of four blocs and guaranteed expansion of its activities in Angola.

 

José Gabrielli de Avezedo considered “very good” the ties between Petrobrás and Sonangol, having announced the dynamic process of Angolanization of its staff.
