Industry State secretary works in Lunda Norte province

Dundo – The State secretary for Industry, Kiala Ngone Gabriel, is since Thursday visiting the north-eastern Lunda Norte province, for a technical assessment of the files presented by promoters of industrial projects.

Speaking to the press in Dundo district, the official said that the Technical Commission of the Industry State Department will work with local investment promoters to improve information presented by investors.

The secretary said Lunda Norte projects have been identified by local industrial investment promoters and are awaiting a technical assessment, before they are submitted to banks for funding.

In the province, the delegation is working in the districts of Chitato, Cambulo and Lucapa, where he is visiting the “Ombongo” diamond exploration mine, several plants and Luachimo power station, among others.

The delegation will return to Luanda on Saturday.
