Agriculture minister works in Namibe Province

Namibe – The minister of Agriculture, Rural Development and Fishing, Afonso Pedro Canga, is in Namibe Province for a 24-hour working visit.


On his arrival in the province, the minister informed the press that the visit aims at maintaining dialogue with the province governor and meeting with economic agents of the sector.


The minister’s working agenda includes visits to the offices of Cold-Storage Warehouse, tomato processing factory, the warehouse of the Institute of Forests Development and Veterinary Services, among others.


On Friday, Pedro Canga will visit Tômbwa District, to learn about the work of various fishing companies of the region.


In Tômbwa, the government official visited a Support Centre for Artisanal Fishing, the companies Empesul, RJ, Empromar Curoca and others.
