Namibe – Angolan minister of Agriculture, Rural Development and Fisheries, Pedro Canga, Friday met in the auditorium of the Municipal Administration of Namibe with businessmen linked to the sector.
At the meeting, the businessmen had presented many difficulties they have been facing due to lack of technical, human and financial resources to improve the performance of enterprises, especially the fishing industry.
In the city of Tombwa, the minister noted the shutdown of eight units of fishing and just two in full operation Rj - meal and fish oil and Empesul- fish processing and freezing.
The factory of fish meal has the production capacity of 700 tonnes per month and the company Empesul has a production capacity of 25 tonnes.
