Luanda - South Korea's deputy Foreign minister, Kim Jae-Shin, Thursday in Luanda, reiterated his country's availability to continue helping to relaunch the Angolan agriculture, through the financing of specific projects and technical training of personnel, Angop learnt.
The diplomat said so to the press, at the end of an audience granted to him the Angolan minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Rural Development, Pedro Canga.
He added that Angola is a promising country and with a great potential, presenting indicators of world reference in the sector.
He said he had a fruitful meeting with the minister of Agriculture and seized the occasion to say to him that Angola is a promising country and with a great potential.
He added that the parties also discussed the need for an analysis of other ways for promotion of co-operation between the two countries.
The source said he hopes that cooperation with Angola can help improve people’s living standards, adding that he is very happy to finance the second stage of the project of modernisation of agriculture in Sumbe, central Kwanza-Sul province, for cotton's production.
In his turn, minister Pedro Canga said South Kora granted the credit for implementation of two great programmes. One for cotton production and the other for aviculture development, in the northern provinces of Kwanza-Norte and Malanje.
