Portugal holds international fair on food, beverages

 

 

Luanda – The International Hall of the Food and Beverages Sector (SISAB–2010) will happen from February 22 to 24 in Lisbon, Portugal, with the participation of 400 Portuguese companies of the sector, ANGOP learnt this Tuesday from an official
source.


According to a communiqué from wine commission of the Lisbon region (CVRL), this will be the 15th edition of an initiative considered by the international market as the “Biggest Annual Meeting” of the sector, specialised on exporting Portuguese food products.


SISAB-2009 counts on a 22-percent increase of national and international attendance, overcoming all initial expectations of the organising committee.


The 14th edition of SISAB was inaugurated by the President of Portugal, Cavaco Silva, who at the occasion stressed the importance of this event that plans the Portuguese food sector for its internationalisation in a very special manner.
