Luanda - The Ministry of Fisheries announced that it will held on November 5 a two-day Integrated Management Council on Aquatic Biological Resources in south-eastern Kuando Kubango province, with a view to their development.
This was announced Friday in Luanda by the national director of market infrastructure and research, Antonio Nelumba, who stated that the meeting will also analyse law drafts related to the aquatic environment and sustainable use of biological resources.
The experts of the sector will address issues related to artisan, maritime and continental fishing, as well as the need for promoting communal aquaculture.
"Technological innovation in fish processing”, "the supply of iodized salt ", and "preservation of seals in the southern Angola-based seas", also are part of the topics.
The meeting is also expected to discuss the oceanographic situation of Angola in 2002/2009, assessed the state of the main fishing stocks and proposed management measures for 2010.
