Hotels and Tourism deputy minister in Dar es Salaam

Dar es Salaam – The Hotels and Tourism deputy minister, Paulino Domingos Baptista, arrived last Saturday in Dar es Salaam City, in Tanzania, to participate in the 5th International Conference of the African Diaspora, happening on 25-27 October.

The Angolan official is being accompanied by the national director for hotel infrastructures, Afonso Henriques Vita.

The event, to gather over 200 delegates, will be topped by the discussion about reasons of the African immigration and ways to sensitise them to return and invest in their respective countries.

The work programme also reserves visits to concentration centres of slaves and smuggling of ivory, so that the delegates may learn about the inhumane conditions that those slaves had before their deportation to the Americas and other parts of the world.
