Chamber of commerce admits partnerships with South Africa

Luanda - The chairman of Angola's Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCIA), António dos Santos, on Thursday expressed the availability of the Angolan private sector to co-operate with the South African one, as long as risks be shared, ANGOP has learnt.

Speaking at a forum between mining businesspeople of both countries, he highlighted the presentation by the Angolan government of the strategies of intervention of private businesspeople in the fields of mining and opening of businesses in the sector, based in international partnerships.

"The economic crisis has created conditions for national businesspeople to get foreign partnerships to hold forum and fairs, providing thus new jobs for Angolan citizens, in order to better contribute to the country's development", he said.

António dos Santos also said that the chamber has conditions to support South African missions within pre-designed parameters between the two countries.
